My 15 rules of the gluten-free kitchen

My 15 rules of the gluten-free kitchen

Cooking can be great fun and isn't as difficult as you might think! However, you should be sure to follow a couple of simple rules. Before you start, read through my 15 tips and then you'll be ready to go!

Be careful at the hob
Always be really careful at the hob and make sure that the handles of pots and pans are not facing outwards.
Hold pots tightly
When stirring, you should always hold the pot or pan tightly so that it can't slip and fall off the hob.
Keep an eye on what you're cooking
Never leave anything unattended while it is cooking and don't forget to switch off the hob or oven once you have finished.
Always wipe up
If anything falls on the floor, then pick it up or wipe it up immediately. Otherwise you could slip and injure yourself!
Preheat the oven
Remember to preheat the oven early enough so that it will have reached the correct temperature by the time you want to put the dishes in the oven.
Make everything clean and tidy
Once you have finished cooking, you should always wash up and leave the kitchen looking clean, the way it was when you started.
