Ingredients
1 Schär Baguette, 150g of boiled and diced ham, 50g of cheese (cheddar or similar), pickled gherkins or if preferred pickled vegetables small mushrooms in oil
...and this is how you do it:
Put the baguette in the oven, take it out and leave to cool. Cut in half and add the ham, the cheese, the pickled gherkins and/or the pickled vegetables.
TO GARNISH: Roll a slice of ham lengthwise in order to make a tube about three cm. thick then cut both ends and twist back to make the engine front.
Use pieces of cheese to make the windows and the sliced gherkins are the wheels. The little mushrooms represent the smoke issuing from the steam engine. Have a nice trip!
