Ingredients
Panini, Pain Campagnard or Pan carré Schär, various vegetables (e.g. cherry tomatoes, lettuce, pickled gherkins), tuna, hard-boiled eggs, salami, ham, mayonnaise, ketchup, olives, mustard, cocktail sausages, cream cheese and other harder cheeses, chives
...and this is how you do it:

Panini man:
Cut the panini into two halves. Cover the lower half with tuna and lettuce and add a little mayonnaise. Simply place the upper half on top.

Spear two olives on toothpicks and stick these “little arms” sideways into the bread. A slice of cucumber and a cherry tomato serve as a “head” and can also be fixed with a toothpick through the middle.

Then cut the “mouth” in the cherry tomato with a sharp knife, make “eyes” and a “nose” from finely chopped chives and lastly decorate with mayonnaise.

Toast butterflies:
Either draw a simple butterfly shape on a sheet of paper and cut it out or use a biscuit cutter.

Toast two slices of Pan carré. Cover one slice with your choice of lettuce, cheese, tuna etc., add mayonnaise, ketchup or mustard and place the second slice on top.

Lay the butterfly shape on the toast and carefully cut around the shape with a knife.

Now insert two “feelers” of chives between the slices of toast and there you have a party snack your children will fly to!
