Ingredients
1 Schär Fantasia, 30 g (1 oz) Schär "Mix Pâtisserie" - Mix C, 2 egg yolks, 50 g (2 oz) sugar, 250 ml (9 fl oz) milk, 1 vanilla pod.
for decoration:
3 kiwi fruit, 2 tinned peaches, ½ pineapple slice (fresh or tinned), approx. 10 raspberries, approx. 20 strawberries, 100 g (4 oz) almond leaves, 2 small round chocolates, 4-5 tablespoons of whipped cream, 2-3 tablespoons of apricot jam
...and this is how you do it:

Bring 200 ml of milk and the vanilla pod to the boil in a small pan.

Stir the rest of the milk with the flour, the sugar and the egg yolks in a bowl until smooth.

Pour into the small pan containing the boiling milk, put back on the hob, remove the vanilla pod and let it thicken while constantly stirring. Let it cool.

Cut the gateau into two layers, fill with cream and reassemble. Spread apricot jam onto the top and the edge.

Decorate the gateau with the fruit to provide the image of a face and sprinkle almond leaves on the edge.
