My kitchen ABC
Have you come across any words in my recipes that you don't know? Chefs use special terms for many things. I will explain the most important ones for you here. Then you can learn not only to cook but also the "language of the kitchen"!

It is often necessary for you to form stiff peaks with whipping cream and egg whites when you are cooking. Therefore, you should continue beating the mixture using the mixer until it has all become solid and stays on the beater. When beating egg whites, it is very important that the mixing bowl and mixer are completely clean. If there is a tiny bit of fat or yoke in there, the egg whites won't turn fluffy!
When you fry something (e.g. meat) in the pan, this means that you have to place it in hot fat until it is brown and cooked. Please take care when you do this as it is easy to burn yourself on the hot fat and the hot pan!
